MAC Address Vendor (OUI) Lookup

Enter a MAC address to look up its manufacturer from the first 3 bytes (the OUI), using a small reference list of common vendors.

OUI prefix: B8:27:EB
Raspberry Pi Foundation

The first 3 bytes of a MAC address (the OUI) identify the manufacturer, per IEEE registration — but this tool only covers a small set of common vendors as a quick reference. For an authoritative, complete lookup, check the IEEE OUI registry directly. Locally-administered/randomized MAC addresses (common on modern phones and laptops for privacy) won’t match any real vendor.

How to use this tool

  1. 1Enter a MAC address in any common format.
  2. 2See the matched OUI prefix.
  3. 3See the identified vendor, if it's in the reference list.

Frequently asked questions

This tool only covers a small set of common vendors as a quick reference, and many modern devices use randomized/locally-administered MAC addresses for privacy that won't match any real manufacturer.
